Project Background
This short film follows a single mother of three and successful entrepreneur. Growing up in Compton, Caliefah learned to garden and started to sell homemade soap to support her first child. Now she aspires to give back and be a guiding light for her community.

The soundtrack had to match Caliefah’s tenacity but also channel her philosophical and spiritual nature. The score fuses ambient sounds, organic textures, hip hop and soul.
