Project Background
Finding the right pallet of sounds is an important first step for any score. Since the subject of this film was the American Mustang, we knew our influence would come from Western and Americana genres.

A key highlight: we used violins for several tense, wildlife moments. The watering hole is a good example (1:25). It was a desperate scene with several animals fighting over a water source…so we cued in string tremolos and cellos to play up the tension.
